Life at Royal Gorge Academy
(Pictured are students who volunteered their time at a children's discovery festival)

From the perspective of a female student who graduated the PPC Program...

"Life at Royal Gorge is quite the adventure.  When we have such a packed schedule, we learn to cherish the little perks in life.  Royal Gorge teaches young students to be thankful for what we have, and to love what we receive.  Life at Royal Gorge has given me a 180° flip on life.  I now have skills to enrich the life experience ahead of me.  At Royal Gorge, you spend every moment around people you have formed a bond with.  We always have something to conquer and overcome; the challenges and struggles continue to come, strengthening our skills for the future life.  Royal Gorge has taught me to be a strong and ambitious leader."

From the perspective of a male student who graduated the PPC Program...

"Royal Gorge Academy is like a life skills class, but through experience.  When I was younger I was enrolled in another facility; however, I have learned more in my first six months at RGA about myself and caring for others than I did in two plus years at the other facility.  With almost eight months at RGA, I have had two successful family visits; I am in a transition phase and looking forward to a successful reunion with my family."
