For most parents many questions come to mind prior to and during the enrollment process. The following are the most frequently asked questions/concerns that parents have expressed:
Q: How long is the program?
A: The program is on average twelve months in length. The length of stay depends greatly on the student's progress.
Q: When and how often can I communicate with my son/daughter?
A: Parents are encouraged to send as many e-mails to their student as they would like. Parents may also send their student letters. The academy asks that packages are shoe box in size and sent only once a month. Students may send emails twice a week. Phone calls with students are arranged after the student has been on campus for a month. This allows the student time to adjust.
Q: What communication can I expect from the staff at

A: Parents will receive a phone call from their student’s Family Rep. within a week of enrollment. From there, parents can expect a scheduled phone call with the Famliy Rep. each week. During these phone calls, parents will be informed of their child’s progress. Any questions in regards to the parent manual can also be answered during this time.
Q: Will I be able to visit my child or take him/her home for the holidays?
A: Family Reps. work closely with parents to determine if their student is strong enough to have a home visit during the holiday season. Parents also have the option of arranging an on campus visit.
Q: What are the main rules and regulations that my child will have to adhere to while they are at RGA?
A: The main rules and regulations are listed in the Student Manual. The academy recommends that parents refer to the student manual for more information.
Q: Does my child wear a uniform while at RGA?

has a standard dress code that helps maintain the appearance and feel of a traditional boarding school. Students are required to be in school uniform at all times. Students have separate uniforms for physical education.
Q: Who oversees my child's medication?

employs a nurse who is on campus Monday through Friday. In addition, there are staff members on each shift who are med certified.
Q: Who watches my child at night?

hires night staff to supervise the students at night. Night staff performs room checks every fifteen minutes. In addition, the dorms are equipped with a security system.
